It's a black comedy about a couple who have fallen out of love and into misery on the way to visit their son. I wrote, directed, produced, and edited the film. Shot on 16mm film, it is 8min long. Password: lovely A Love Story The most expensive day of shooting was the first day, when I rented a taxi cab for the day, and an expensive light to light it. Due to a screw-up on the DP's part, all the footage of the backseat was horribly out of focus. The only footage from that entire day are the shots of the driver in the front seat. A few weeks later I just rented a normal car, and reshot all the backseat footage lit with a regular 60-watt bulb wrapped in CTB, shooting the footage myself. Those shots ended up being my favorite part of the film. Looking back and knowing what I know now, I could have made the whole film for the cost of that first day, and have done it in HD. Ext.
